Darlene "Niara" Arrington is an acclaimed choreographer, touring dancer, Author, certified holistic health coach and actress, residing in NYC. She has a duo bachelors degree in both Dance and Choreography and Exercise Physiology. She integrates her studies with a Holistic approach for clients worldwide.

Her most recent successes include landing a featured role in the upcoming movie, Farewell Amor, directed by Ewka Msangi, landing her first international tour, and booking a principal role in her first off-broadway musical titled, A Nation Grooves: A People’s History of Hip Hop, directed by Kambi Gatheshak. Some of the artists she’s danced alongside include Afro B., Remy Ma, Katrina Kaif ,and Salman Khan.

 She has graced the stages of Lincoln Center, The New Victory Theater, MetLife Stadium, Staples Center,Puerto Rico, Dakar, and more. She is also amongst 8 other choreographers chosen for the 2015 Mare Nostrum Elements: Emerging Choreographers Series.

In 2017, she published her first book titled, Mask Off; How to lead by Example without Perfection. The book reads as a self-help guide to help young people and artists alike, to share their stories both positive and challenging because she believes that’s what makes phenomenal leaders.
